1 Minimalism

When you want to achieve minimalism in your makeup, you need to use less foundation and concealer and more tinted moisturizers and dewy blushes.

You can try minimalist skin with glam eye makeup and/or a bold lip for a fresh, modern take on winter makeup.

2 Cream Blush

Cream blush might seem more suitable for a summer look but after last summer’s massive blush trend, it’s not surprising at all that it will continue throughout these colder months.

You can use the cream blush to create a soft, natural but dewy look. If you have dry skin or want to achieve a more matte look, you can use one with a matte finish.

3 Pops of Blush Under the Eyes

This technique will lift the apples of your cheeks and give your makeup a flirty look.

If you have a light to medium skin tone, you can use a pink blush and for deeper skin, I recommend a bright orange.

To prevent accentuating any texture or creases under the eyes, try using a matte, shimmer-free powder blush.

4 Metallic Eyeshadows

Metallic eyeshadows are perfect for a colorful, dramatic, and full glam look. You can achieve this look by simply adding a little shimmer to your smoky eye for an easy update to your usual makeup ideas. When you’re using a metallic eyeshadow, it’s best if you have nude lipstick and not be over the top.

5 Glitter

Glitter’s back! You can use glitter on your eyeliner, on your lipstick, on your eyeshadow or as a highlighter for a glow.

6 Colorful Graphic Eyeliner

This might not be for an everyday look, but the graphic liner has been a big makeup trend for the last two years and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere soon.

To achieve the look, use a colorful liner on the inner corner of the eyes and create a V-shape, or a traditional winged line but coming out far from the inner corner of the eye and create a cat-like effect.

7 Reverse Cat-Eye

Reverse cat-eye is another trend that you should try this winter. How to achieve the look? Well, start by using a neutral-colored eyeliner like brown or black and smudge it only along the bottom lash line, and extend it a bit to create a smoky, reversed wing. This look will really make your eyes pop.

8 Fluffy Brows

Natural and full brows will continue to be a trend for this winter. Set your eyebrow the way it is, and there you have it.

9 Bold Lips

Every skin tone can pull off a deep red or a burgundy-toned lip for a classic winter look!

10 Glossy, Over-Lined Lips

Go ahead and overdraw your lips and use some gloss to make it pop! This one is great for a more natural look. There’s a nude lipstick for everyone out there!
